|RDLDs exterior and landscape lighting design needed to pass both the Board of Curators and Architectural Review Boards scrutiny, as well as the boards mandate that the specimen foliage not be disturbed, or even pruned, during the lighting process. RDLD succeeded on all counts, earning commendations and thanks from several active community groups. This project also has the distinction of being a working lighting laboratory for lighting fixture manufacturer BEGA US, which underwrote the entire project, and then donated the system to the county for $1.00.
